The panopticon society (a simile of the surveillance society proposed by Foucault) would be like a prison similar to that designed by the architect Jeremy Bentham and that the author takes up in his social outline, where the prison aims to maximize efficiency and minimize the economy of the prison system with the purpose of domesticating souls. We find so many metaphors today!
