Europa TV is a work that does not allude to television itself but rather to the viewer - the passive viewer - alienated from or simply "in the shadow" of his television set.
The references are never direct; the discourse is always very much mediated by the pictorial medium itself - a medium that is more suggestive than explicit. Video-paintings are no more that a "half-caste" extension of it.
EUROPA TV consists of two video installations: Europatv and El espectador (The viewer).
